The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the foremost legal document in the world. The European Convention rights that people enjoy were created to enforce the UNHDR. If you want to rely on this document in a claim or skeleton argument, and enforce your reliance in higher courts, then you must refer to it as soon as possible in lower courts.
